Please read before you proceed with the installation of AS and A2 Philosophy and Ethics Software:

The installation instructions provided below are intended as general guidance and do not aim to provide detailed technical information. Some systems may not operate in exactly the same way, but the basic process remains the same. If in doubt, please consult your network administrator and/or technical support documentation.

All drive letters below are used as examples; drive letters on your system may vary. Ensure that all folders used for installing the software have sharing and permissions enabled (see 'installation overview' file in the ReadMe folder).

Local Install

1. Insert the disc into your machine

2. The CD should autorun, if this does not happen please follow the steps below:

  • Browse the the files on the CD-ROM
  • Select the RB.exe

3. From the menu page select Local Install from the bottom of the screen

4. Select Go

5. Select Run

6. Select Next

7. Choose your install location

8. Select Next

9. Select Install

Line Break

Network Install

In the root of this CD you will find:
  • OCR AS Philosophy.msi file
  • System32 folder
  • program files folder

Both of these folders are required for the msi to work correctly, but no other files or folders from the CD are required. Please copy these folders, as well as the msi, to your normal deployment area and then follow your usual procedure to install and distribute this product.

VLE Install

In the root of this CD you will find a zipped SCORM 1.2 Content Pack which contains the content from this product.

Please follow the usual instructions specific to your VLE system to upload and extract this content pack.
