"There are a range of great activities available, ranging from songs that have narration if required, to cartoons and small video clips. It also uses visuals and games to provide a range of ways for the children to use and reuse the new vocabulary”. “The pupils who used Tout le monde were highly motivated by the different games and it was an effective way for them to put into practice their new found vocabulary and for the teacher to see which children were developing their understanding and confidence”.

  • Sue Francis, The Downley School, Teacher

"From the children's point of view, it's really fun. Every learning style is catered for and I have never seen my special needs children respond to anything like this.

  • Sue Francis, The Downley School, Teacher

"When asked to teach French, I was so apprehensive. My French is pretty poor but Tout le monde is foolproof. If it helps me it can help anybody!

  • Steve, Stow Heath Junior School, MFL Coordinator

"The kids get excited by Tout le monde especially the songs which are catchy, vibrant and very easy to pick up. Some of the songs lend themselves to actions and certainly my class are never still when we sing. Staff comment on hearing the kids singing and looking so engaged and happy. At out recent parent evening, without exception, all the Year 3 parents commented on their kids enthusiasm and keenness in singing the songs and trying to speak French. I had the program running on the IWB to show the parents, many of them wanting to use it at home!"

  • Monica Loveday, Herringthorpe Junior School, Year 3 Teacher

"Tout le monde aims to make learning French fun for everyone, and Monica confirms that the “children adored it”, especially the lower ability children. She explains it gave them “confidence and power” and that all children were able to engage with it “at one level or another”.

  • Gloria Buxton, The Downley School, French co-ordinator

"What's wonderful about Tout le monde is it incorporates the principles of the Key Stage 2 Framework, and “makes sense of them”, so teachers feel confident that the “coverage is there, without [them] having to think about it”.

  • Kirsten Stroud, Old Hall School, Warrington

"The children really enjoyed that Tout le monde was interactive. They didn't want the lesson to stop. I'm impressed with the quality of the material and found it very easy to use. This material would also be easy for a non-specialist to use which means that it could be used during lessons when I am not there."

  • Monica Loveday, Herringthorpe Junior School

"Tout le monde materials suit the primary, cross curriculuar approach perfectly. The advice we have received so far is that where possible, the teaching of MFL should not be a 'bolted-on' session in isolation, but should be visited a little and often. These materials are ideal for this."

  • Nathalie Gardner-Medwin, Leckhampton Primary School

"Using Tout le monde is saving me a great deal of planning time as I know that the planning has already been done exhaustively for me and I can concentrate on delivering the lesson itself!"
