This programme has been written by Tom Renwick to help teachers plan their maths lessons through Levels A-E of the 5-14 Guidelines. The Programme of Study uses Scottish Heinemann Maths as its key resource, and offers suggestions for other series such as Abacus, Spotlight and SHM software. Within each Level, 10 teaching units and related tests are provided. Each unit gives coverage of a range of topics from the 5-14 strands - Information handing, Number, Money, and Measurement, and Shape, Postion and Movement - in order to provide a variety of teaching through a set of lessons. Each unit has three main sections: mental agility starters, teaching topics and addtional support. For more detailed information, please see General Information.
