  • Includes interactive quizzes to check comprehension.
  • Records and rewards each child's reading performance - certificates are provided by the software for the child to print and collect.

Innovative books filled with endless learning opportunities

The 108 finely-levelled books in the Rapid programme present irresistible subjects for KS2/P4-7 learners.  Offering 12 stages of reading development from National Curriculum level 1C to 2A/5-14 levels A-C, the books provide a fast and effective route to reading fluency.

Each fiction text is illustrated in a lively, contemporary style and is linked to a non-fiction test that builds vocabulary and expands knowledge at the same time.  With everything from blood sucking bugs to monsters and jellyfish, Rapid captures the interest of even the most reluctant reader.

Benchmark Books for summative and formative assessment

The Assessment Books provide a benchmarking tool to monitor and track each child's progress. Mirroring the look and feel of the readers, the Assessment Book will be read when the child has finished the readers at that level, allowing the teacher to monitor their reading ability.

The results generated enable you to:
  • place each child at the right level within the programme
  • identify if they are ready to progress to the next level
  • monitor progress in a structured non-pressured way.

All of the Assessment books are also available on the Rapid Reading Assistant software.
