"Moovl is a software tool designed to enable children of any age to create drawings that they can animate using the law of physics. The user can then create links from one animated scene to the next. Sounds can be added as well as text. It is designed to be used by teachers with their class, by pupils with their peers, and by themselves. It has cross-discipline applications and makes learning fun for staff and students alike."

"Moovl is one of the most dynamic pieces of software submitted for SMARTBoard Accreditation. Its interactivity opens a wealth of teaching opportunities on SmartBoards for either whole class, group or individual teaching and learning. It allows children to express their understanding of the curriculum in a truly creative form."

"Moovl is a unique online tool which teachers and pupils can use to draw, animate and apply physical properties to objects in order to bring their pictures and words to life. For example you can make a ball even bouncier, a hippo even heavier or the word shiver actually shiver. Moovl already has ready-made lesson plans and activities matched to the curriculum which you can adapt. There is also a resource gallery to create your very own! Teachers can sign up for a free trial or alternatively I suggest you run the ‘beta’ version which runs on the your home computer (note: you need Java to launch this application). It's certainly fun creating a moving 'monster' that can float around."

"Moovl is web-based, so it's always accessible and easy for the teacher to manage. In no time at all, though, children will be racing ahead with new ideas, delving into all the software's possibilities."
