"After my first session exploring Interactive Literacy: Multimedia Texts for Whole Class Teaching CD-ROM for Year 4, I was determined to buy the rest of the series. My first trial lesson with the class strengthened my resolve. The children loved the presentation and found it stimulating... Interactive Literacy will prove a invaluable tool in the classroom. As well as being excellent literacy support, it will also enhance the use of ICT in the classroom and develop children's ICT skills. Good news for me, anyway - a 10 minute demostration was enough to convince my Head that whatever else we did without this year, it will not be the Interactive Literacy series!"  To read the full review, visit schoolzone

The interface of Interactive Literacy: Multimedia Texts for Whole Class Teaching is intuitive, easy to follow, and you can quickly find what you need... The style of content varies between units, which in my opinion, is a positive feature, as it offers a fresh approach with each use, and will appeal to the preferences of a varied audience. The style includes photographs, cartoon style drawings, colourful animations, and video, each with either plain or interactive texts. The interactive text includes highlights, labels, speech bubbles and a glossary. I particularly liked the video instructions and animated rhymes, and the children responded well to the preview of these. I would use this product to ensure coverage of text level work for the whole class using the interactive whiteboard, and as a starting point for developing group work."  To read the full review, visit schoolzone
