'The main comment heard, (when reviewing the Hot Maths Topics series), was that it gave real depth and focus to their lessons in a way that they had always strived for and yet never seemed to have the time to plan. The publishers have managed to take the Framework and produce very worthwhile materials that not only support the teacher using it, but extend its effect by providing activities that get the user thinking hard about the way they process maths.
Like most schools, we use a published maths scheme which we felt suited our needs. Reviewing these publications made me realise just how much we need them to take our maths teaching to the next level. As soon as possible, the full set of these resources will be in use on a daily basis in our classrooms and without any hesitation I would urge other schools to follow suit. You won't be disappointed.'
