World of Work DVD and Learning Resource File: Construction and the Built Environment Level 2 contains over 15 full lesson plans with accompanying resource sheets for individual, group work and homework. These focus on key concepts such as sustainability, community issues, health and safety at work, design and the life cycle of a build project.

DVD
The DVD is filmed at the London and Barts Hospital in Whitechapel, and the construction company is Skanska.
The footage shows a clip| from the interview with Rob Parsons, Design Manager at Skanska. Rob talks about his work and role within the company and we see him going about his work. He describes his regular activities and explains how the design process has worked in the Royal London Hospitals project. He introduces the concept of sustainability in design and construction.
