What's the minimum specification required to run ProActive Hospitality & Catering?
Processor: 900MHz Intel Pentium III (or equivalent)
Supported OS: Windows 2000, Windows XP, Mac OSX, Linux (all stable platforms)
Memory: 256Mb RAM
Screen res: 1024x768 or higher
Colour depth: 16 bit (high colour) or above
Audio: sound card (soundblaster equivalent)
Graphics: DirectX 9 compatible integrated video chip with 128Mb Ram, 64Mb DirectX 9 compatible standalone graphics card preferred
Browsers: Windows: IE6, Firefox 1.5; Mac: Safari 2.0, Firefox 1.5; Linux: Firefox 2.0
Plugins: Flash 8 or above
Internet connection: 2 Mbps broadband connection

For best results, the e-learning course materials should be viewed in full screen mode. In your browser, select View > Full screen, or use F11.
Some ProActive course materials contain video. The video downloads as it is being played. Only a portion of the video needs to be downloaded before it can be viewed. On slow or busy connections, video playback may proceed at a faster rate than the download, which will result in interruptions to the flow of the video. To ensure that playback is smooth and continuous, check the video progress bar and wait until the download is complete before playing the video.
Speakers or headphones are recommended to get the most out of some elements of the e-learning material, however they are not essential and ProActive course materials can be used without them.
Certain elements of the ProActive course materials, including the Tutor Resources and the Recipes for ProActive Hospitality & Catering, are in PDF or Microsoft® Office Word format.
