Please read before you proceed with the installation of Hair & Beauty Software:
The installation instructions provided below are intended as general guidance and do not aim to provide detailed technical information. Some systems may not operate in exactly the same way, but the basic process remains the same. If in doubt, please consult your network administrator and/or technical support documentation.
All drive letters below are used as examples; drive letters on your system may vary. Ensure that all folders used for installing the software have sharing and permissions enabled (see 'installation overview' file in the ReadMe folder).

Run from CD
Simply select option 1 above and follow the on-screen instructions

Full local installation
1. Insert the CD into the CD-ROM drive
2. Double click on My Computer and right click on the CD-ROM drive (D drive L 2 Beauty TPP) and select explore
3. A list of the contents of the CD is displayed
4. Double click on the Setup.exe file (Macrovision)
5. The InstallShield Wizard is displayed, click on the Next button
6. The location on the C drive where the product contents will be copied to is displayed (C:\Program Files\Harcourt Education Limited\Level2BeautyTherapyTPP)
7. This can be changed by clicking on the Change button and specifying a particular folder
8. To accept the default location, click on the Next button
9. The Choose Shortcuts page is displayed, select either/both by clicking in the box(es)
10. Click on the Next button, then click on the Proceed button
11. Files are downloaded and a message is displayed saying installation is complete
12. Click on the Finish button to exit the InstallShield Wizard and close the contents of CD page
13. For CC3 installations please save the contents of the CD to your chosen location and create a shortcut to "resourcebrowser.html"
VLE installation
This CD contains the SCORM 1.2 Content Pack as a Zipped Package (Level_2_BeautyTherapy_TPP_VLE_pack.zip)
Follow the instructions specific to your system for SCORM 1.2 packages

Running instructions
1. After installation, double click on the product icon on the Desktop
2. A menu screen opens - click through this to select from a range of activities
3. To exit the product click on the Close/Exit (X) button
