Blackpool Sixth Form Marathon Appeal
Four BTEC Sport students from Blackpool Sixth Form College are ran the London Marathon in April 2008. The students were also accompanied by their tutor – Heinemann author Graham Saffery|. The group raised over £10,000 to split between their individually chosen charities.
The students – Liam Sweeting, Sean Blinkhorn, Jaymie Kelshaw and Graeme King – are running for Heart UK, Orchid, Sports Leaders UK, Cancer Research UK and Macmillan Cancer Support. Author Graham Saffery is running for Mind.
